Minimized Files

HELP, HELP, HELP

I have a toolbar/taskbar at the bottom of my screen, but when I
minimize a file, it NO LONGER shows up at the bottom of the screen too!

I don't know if I have ANY files open unless I open task manager.
Further, I don't know how to drag and drop an attachment to an email
without having those minimized files at the bottom to drag on to.

Where are my files when I minimize them??? Can anyone help me.

REALLY frustrated, Maggie (Thank you in advance for any advice, I have
asked everyone I know and no one can figure out why my files no longer
show up at the bottom when I minimize. Everyone thinks I have lost my
taskbar/toolbar at the bottom - that is not the case. My icons are
there. I can enlarge my taskbar to several inches, but the minimized
files are not there)

I have never tried this solution but MVP Kelly Theriot has a fix for this
problem on her page: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Many people that have experienced the problem you're seeing have had
success with her fix.

Directions at the top of the page tell how to use the downloadable fixes.
The one that addresses programs not minimizing to the taskbar can be found
on line 240 on the left hand side.

I have recently encountered the same problems you are having with minimised
docs not showing on the taskbar. I am new to discussion/help groups and was
wondering if anyone had given you answers to the problems that you would
share with me.
