I've a Dell server (Win2K) that's been re-booting a couple of times per
week. There's a directory called MiniDump at C:\winnt\minidump that appears
to have a new file created every time the re-boot occurs.

What's in this file? and how can I read the .dmp file that's created??
Notepad won't read it properly.
Will it tell me anything about why the server has re-booted???

The Event log doesn't have any information about the re-boot.

I don't think it's a virus/worm/trojan since it doesn't occur all the time.
However, it does occur between 10AM and 12AM a couple of time per week. I
suspect it's caused by something a user does. This runs Terminal Services
with quite a few heavy users running a POS application.

TIA... ~Joe
