I've been offered a great deal on a Compaq Presario X1000 series laptop but
this machine only comes with 802.11b wireless.
Can a Centrino-based laptop that ships with a mini-PCI 802.11b wireless card
be upgraded with *ANY* mini-PCI 802.11*g* card? or are there known
limitations in doing this aside from the obvious disassembly required?
Are all mini-PCI wireless cards the same form-factor and have the same
electrical and logical interfaces?
TIA
