mini dump

my system shutdown and rebooted without warning because of a mini-dump. is
this an on going problem?
XP has been running flawlessly for about a year now.
what should i be looking at? otherwise it is a good operating system
(stable)

windows XP home
AMD Athlon 2000
20 gig drive
768 megs ram
 
The "minidump" is not the cause of your problem. The minidump is created
after your machine restarts in case tech support needs the information it
contains. You may have malfunctioning hardware, an incompatible or corrupt
driver, or you may have installed incompatible or problematic software. All
these can cause your computer to suddenly shutdown and reboot (which, by the
way, is XP's way of saving your system from disaster.)
