Way back when my Atari was the hot machine (Well, OK, the Commodore 64 fit
in there somewhere also ;) ) my wife liked playing a game called "Miner
2049'er." Has anyone seen a freeware version of it for the PC? Heck, if
there were a "payware" version I might be interested.

This looks like freeware, but I can't be sure without downloading and
running it. Still, you might want to check it out:

http://www.bigfivesoftware.com/Emulator/emulator.htm

I got the link from this site:

http://www.atcybertopia.com/news/

and they say the following:

"All software on this site is 100% freeware. This means no adware,
spyware, etc. If you detect anything of the sort in any of the
programs on this site, please tell us."

I didn't find it there, but it's a good site. Thanks.
