What is the Manufactuer BASIC start up items that are mandatory? Need help fast got cable modem and runs like 56K or slower

who makes your comp. ? need to know this to let ya know what is require
to run the system if ya built it yourself generally nothing i
absolutly required , except for maybe video card start up items ! ..
