Military Time

I am trying to use this formula (=MIN((G10-C10)-(F10-D10),10/24). It is
giveing the coreect time but I can't input time as 7:00(A1) 4:30 (A2).
I have to key 7:00 16:30.

That's correct - Excel will take 4:30 as 4:30AM.
