Hi, Teams

I am trying to migrate my company win NT domain to 2000
through restructuring the domain, That include changing
the domain name and planning to use exchange 5.5 for now
but my exchange organization will remain the same only
the domain name will change. So how can i achieve this
with least time.

You have a lot of reading ahead of you.

You could create a trust between your NT domain and your new 2000 domain and
use ADMT v2 to migrate users across to the new domain. You'd have a lot of
planning to do in making sure permissions are set correctly so that users
can access resources across the domain.

This type of question is not one that can be answered comprehensively in a
newsgroup thread. There's just too much to cover.

One piece of advice I will give you, though, is to go and buy "Master
Windows 2000 Server" by Mark Minasi (Sybex). There's a 2003 version of the
book available as well, which serves as a good 2000 book as well.

Sorry, that was "Mastering Windows 2000 Server", or "Mastering Windows
Server 2003".

I would also suggest reviewing the documentation below especially Ch 10:
