I am running Exchange on SBS 2003 and have tried to migrate from
Outlook 2003 to 2007. Note all other programs in 2007 run fine.

When I attempt to open Outlook 2007 its gets as far as migrating data
then hangs, It asks if I want to start in sfae mode but that also hangs
at data migration. It sometimes then asks me if I want to repair Office
2007 when attempt this it I am back in the loop of it locking at data
migration. I have had to uninstall Office 2007 and Office 2003 as the
2003 Mapi file is corrupted. So I have to reinstall 2003 in order to
the get outlook working again .

Any ideas on how to overcome this

Make sure the Exchange mailbox and not a pst-file is your default delivery
location.
Tried it with a clean mail profile already?
