You will want to migrate from Windows Mail to Outlook 2007 on the Vista
workstation and not Windows 7. The reason why is that Windows 7 doesn't
include Windows Mail and you would have to download the "Live" components to
accomplish. Not a great thing if your goal is not to have to install it.
If you want to push the data from Windows Mail to Outlook, you would just
Windows Mail and choose File > Export > Messages to do the mail. The
contacts can be pushed to a CSV and then imported by Outlook.
Other than that and not to say that this is acceptable or not, but there are
methods to get Windows Mail from Vista (x86/x64) working under Windows 7.
Just use your favorite search engine to locate the steps on how to
accomplish.
