Migrating windows 2000 server to a different domain

I am wondering if migrating windows 2000 server to a
different domain is possible and, if so, how can it be
done? Thanks for any input
 
Is it a member server or a domain controller?

A member server you can simply change to the new domain.

A DC you will need to run DCPromo to remove the DC role, then you can move
it.

If it's a member server simply remove it from the first domain, change
IP/DNS settings if needed, and then add it to the new domain.
