Migrating Users to Another Domain

I need to move users from one domain to another. These
domains are in different trees of the same forest, and
trust each other.

I see no way to move the user, so I assume that I need to
create new accounts and remove the old. However, the
users are using roaming profiles whose permissions are set
to their existing user ids.

Is there an easy way to migrate these profiles without
individually resetting all the permissions? i.e. a tool
to do this? Or can I somehow move the SIDs to another
domain?

Thanks

Also consider using ADMT v2 ( aka Active Directory
Migration Tool ). It will do what you need. However,
please be aware that the destination domain will need to
be in native Mode.
