I am attempting to replace a Window Nt 4.0 PDC Server with
a Windows 2000 Domain Server. The system also has a Member
Server configured to the PDC. I configured the 2000
Domain "exactly" like the PDC. When I shut off the PDC and
turn on the new 2000 Domain and member, I am able to see
the Member from the Domain and see the Domain from the
member and see both from the workstations. I am able to
log on to the new Domain from the workstations, but I am
unable to log on to the member and I get an error on the
member: No WINDOWS NT OR WINDOW 2000 Domain Controller
available for Domain XXX.
There are currently no logon servers available.
Do I have to reconfigure the member to with Active
Directory to be a child domain.
Any suggestions?
