Migrating Partition

Can you migrate a win2k advance server partition from one server to another
(i.e. from Compaq to DEll)? Would windows be able to recognize that
hardware has changed and ask you either to install the driver or try to
install itself, or it is just going to stall on you?

It will only work on machines with similar HAL's. Not likely a Dell and
Compaq have that.
