I am unable to use PC Upgrade Commander, a migration
utility to transfer my full C Drive from a pc using Win XP
Home to one using Windows 2000. I suspect it's because
that's a backward migration. Woulod it be necxessary to
install Win XP Home on the pc using 2000 first? If so,
which version of XP Home - Upgrade or Full - would be be
needed to perform this upgrade? If the full version is
needed, would I need to uninstall 2000 before installing XP?

Please reply to my email. Thanks!
Robert

Sounds like a recipe for a nightmare to me.
What exactly are you wanting to achieve?
If its simply data their are other methods, if you wish to clone then
considering both sys are likely to have differing hardware/drivers etc then
I would think the outcome would be a blue screen

Hello Robert,

I am not familiar with PC Upgrade Commander, but it is true you cannot go
from Windows XP to Windows 2000 as that is definitely a downgrade.
