Our company has a Dell Poweredge 1600SC server with Windows 2000 on
it.
I just received a copy of WIN2K3, and want to upgrade. My question
is, from people on the board, has the upgrade gone flawlessly?

ALSO. How can I back up my whole current system in win2k? I know
there is a built in backup utility. Should I check my C and D drive,
and back those up? I want a backup incase the upgrade doesnt go
smooth, and I need to resort back to my current state.

Mine went smooth as silk. I did do it on a non-production machine first
that wasn't my PDC emulator so if it went bad I wasn't hosed. A month later
all is well and I let the 2003 machine seize all the master roles. As far
as backing up, I would make a drive image using one of the imaging 3rd party
apps (I won't start that argument) like Norton ghost or Perfdisk and keep
that around in case things go bad.
