Migrating from W2K AD to 2003

Hi,

I want to upgrade my Active Directory from Windows 2000 to 2003. I plan to
introduce new 2003 DC's and then remove the old 2000 DC's. Currently we are
in "Mixed Mode". My question is: do I need to change to "Native Mode" before
going to 2003. Thanks,

no that is not needed. however, it is recommended to increase the mode (or
functional level as it is called in w2k3) whenever possible to be able to
use new features.
