I have used Act for almost ten years as my personal information manager. Now
that we are using Windows Server 2003 and most of us keep Act always open its
data base no longer synchronizes properly with our other computers.
I am now looking to make a switch.
Is there a Microsoft or third party provider that enhances the amount of
data that Outlook receives?
Is there a conversion application made by Microsoft or a third party
provider that would make my act data base seamlessly fit into Outlook?
Has anyone in this discussion group made this switch.
Thank you.

Hi

With regard to your question there is a work around that i can suggest, but
that to work you should be running either Office 2003 Pro or Office 2003
Small Business. If you running anyone of these version you can download the
latest version of BCM from the following sites and install the same.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...42-6dc5-4922-9dfb-1c82237d6b62&DisplayLang=en

Then follow the steps provided in the below link to transfer the data.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HP011135071033.aspx

If everthing goes as expected you should see your ACT data under Business
Contact and then you can move them to your Outlook contacts.
Hope this helps.
