On a peer to peer network architecture, is there an easy
way to migrate the Local Users Groups security/permissions
to a new PC?

Previous reply pointed to robocopy.exe. Is this specific
to 2000 Server? The permissions and securities I need to
transfer are from old desktop to new desktop run 2000
Professional.

Robocopy or xcopy can be set to copy Domain permissions on a copy
operation but not Local permissions.

Are you aware of any resources that may have the ability to
copy/move local user/group securities? Both at a
system/global or folder/file level?

I have never used it but have seen references to a third party
product, Secure Copy, that claims to do this.

Good luck,
