Dear all,
I am looking for some help in migrating a few (3 to be precise)
legacy(not so old) applications running on Win 95/98/2000 Professional
to XP. They are basically client/server applications. I am only
referring to upgrading the client OS version.
One of the Application is a Powerbuilder one, while 2 others are VB
applications.
The questions I cannot sort out for myself are:
a> Is it possible to use some tool/setting/?? such that once I upgrade
the client machine from say Win 98 to XP Professional, I need not
re-install these applications??
b> If a>is not a practically viable option, can any of you atleast
direct me to some material, which will give me more inputs on the
easiest way to achieve the above.
Please help at the earliest.
Counting on you folks..
Regards,
Varkey
