Migrate Outlook 2003 to Windows Vista mail

If I cannot use my pst files in Windows Vista, how do I transfer my Outlook
2003 data to Windows Vista. Office 2007 Student does not have Outlook
anymore.

I did the Vista file transfer and now outlook won't even open. It say the pst
file is corrupted and to use scanpst.exe to correct the problem but, this
utility is not available in VISTA. So then uninstalled office 2003 and delete
all the files VISTA would let me touch, rebooted and reinstalled and again
the same thing.

The Vista transfer just can't handle Outlook. Start over, using the methods
described here:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm . Make sure you
create a new mail profile.
