Hello to everyone. This is my first post here :)

Well, I'm looking for a program that does that thing. I used Noteworthy
Composer, but I would like a free one. Can someone point me?

TIA.

As far as I am aware there is no free app that does. Finale notepad is
an inexpensive one.

Just to clarify this a bit - there *is* a free Liteware version of
Finale Notepad - but it cannot export midi files.

This page has a list of some of the free music apps that have been
mentioned in ACF (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

there's also some info on the Freeware Wish List -> things for which
there is no known Freeware option:

MidiNotate MidiNotate (for Windows 95, 98, and NT) converts MIDI files
to scores that you can then print or view on the screen during playback.
If you can get a MIDI file for the song or piece for which you need a
score, then all you need to do is open the MIDI file. MidiNotate will
automatically convert it into a score.

On my Multimedia 2 page or HERE:

Cheers!
