Hi! All:
I've faced a small difficulty when inserting a MIDI file in a ppt 2000
present. It's very odd. I can listen the background MIDI sound
in-my-computer but when I e-mail it to collegues they CAN'T listen it
though all the rest is OK. I've tried to send both the present. itself
and attaching MIDI files.
Thx in advance

MIDI sounds are always linked, not embedded. This explains why the links
break:

Short version: put the sound files in the same folder as the PPT. THEN
insert them. You'll have to remove and re-insert any sounds you've already
inserted from elsewhere. Then it'll probably work as long as you arrange to
have the recipient keep all the sounds and PPT in the same folder at their
end. This may mean that they've got to "detach" or save them all from their
email program in some cases.

Sending the whole works as a single ZIP file will make it more reliable, IF
they can be assumed to know how to unzip files.
