I just installed IE 7 (and am posting here because I could not fine an
English IE7 group). I also use the Microsoft Intelipoint software to
control the mouse buttons and scrolling. Generally I like the Tabs
function, but I have one problem with it. In IE 6 I could close the link
that I was in by clicking the scroll button on my mouse (since I had it set
to "close" in Intelipoint). Now I cannot. In fact, IE 7 seems to ignore
the clicking of my scroll button even if I tell Intellipoint to use program
specific commands for IE7 and tell it to treat the scroll button as "close"
or as the "middle mouse button" which IE7 uses a fair amount. The only
thing I can get IE7 to recognize is having Intellipoint program the scroll
button as "Exit program" in which case it closes all Tabs at the same time.
This is not what I want. I want a single click that will close the
currently opened link, as I had in IE6.
Can someone help?
