I had read the thread somewhere and it caught my interest because hubby got
a new digital, is not computer smart, *hee hee* and well his pictures just
come out huge and it's a pain trying to show him how to make them smaller
for emails. Well after seeing about that program and went up and grabbed
it. Oh this is great, just right click on the picture and tell it to
resize and it saves a new pic in the smaller image. I know someone was
having problems in that they said it didn't work? Well it works great for
me and so very easy to use. Just glad I found the thread and hope that
person figured out how to use it.....

Thanks for letting us know that it works well for you. If you're interested
in a freeware third party utility that has some great features (I personally
use it quite often) such as slide shows, resizing images, and editing them
all very easily you can take a look at www.xnview.com though it's a bit
bigger than it once was. I still have older versions of the software that
fit on a single floppy disk. I did buy their paid version (the free one's
really free without nags, ads, or presure to buy) but that was merely to
support the authors. I actually still use the free version as I've no need
to have it play music or video files or any of the other things that it ads
to it. It's pretty handy really and I thought I'd make you (and other
people) aware of it. I imagine I've been using it for 6 years or so now.

I will at least check it out. Thank you.

Well you lost me with the hee hee bit so I can't answer you. Actually I
don't even now what you are talking about.

ah, never mind, went back down and looked........ Oh hubby just isn't
computer smart and I am tired of telling him over and over how to do
something. He doesn't live on it like I do <G> And in response to I
will at least check it out. I downloaded the program but have yet to
install it, I dabble with art work at times, so checking it out probably
for myself.
