I have a problem when turning my computer on. When I
switch it on it starts, thinks then before the stage of
entering my password to go & use the computer it brings a
menu of "ATTENTION OUT OF RANGE" with the numbers &
letters underneath it readidng "H:119.5KHZ B:74.6HZ" does
anyone know how to fix this up.

Cheri,

An 'Out of Range' message is something some monitors display when the
desktop resolution is set to something greater than the monitor can display.

I would start your computer in safe mode and change the resolution in the
Display applet of the control panel.
