microsoft works software issue?

I cant seem to use microsoft works as a word processing
program, my text is stuck together and unreadable. I
don't print at home, but am sure that if I even bothered
to try, it would print the same. I have played with the
justification, to no avail, any suggestions, is it a
software issue?? Can it be remedied?

Sounds like the font is messed up. Use a different font.
