Microsoft Works hangover

Everytime I log on to my computer I am given a window
saying: Microsoft Works Suite 2002, Congratulations your
computer came pre-installed... I would expect this as a
useful window the first time I'd seen it, but to show
everytime I log on is getting frustrating. Any help please?

Are you an administrator on your PC ? Sometimes to clear first welcome
messages you need to log on as a administrator and run the application then
close it, the application can then write successfully to registry/files to
say its been ran and installed OK
