Hi,
Microsoft Word doesn't come with any version of Windows. It is part of
Microsoft Office suite and you have to buy it separately if you need.

Works and Word are not part of the operating system.

You pillock! Repeating what another already stated, doesn't make you seem like you know what the **** you're talking about!

I have BOTH Word and Works. I can tell everyone reading this that Word IS
NOT in Works; it has its own word processor with not nearly the number of
options in Word. Word can be installed as a stand-alone application or as
part of the Office suite of programs.

It actualy depends on what version you have.
The "Works Suite 2003", included with many new computers does come with a
copy
of Word 2002.
It is not in the standard Works suite. This may be where some of the
confusion is coming from.
