Microsoft Word To PDF converter

I am looking for a Microsoft Word to PDF converter I have found several
paid versions but I have not been able to find a free version if you
know if any please reply to this post. Thank you for any help you can
provide.

Even better would be a free program that lets my create PDF's.

OpenOffice will allow you to export to PDF.
Most any print to PDF program should suit your requirements, so long as
you have a program to print the docs you want to convert. My favorite is
PDF Creator
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
It is IMO very well engineered. With this sort of a program you can turn
any document you create into a PDF.

Really I have open office but did not know this. I guess I have to look
at software better. Thanks to all who replied to my post. I will look
at the software suggestions you gave. Thanks again.
