They are enabled by default. You don't have to, nor can you, "enable" them.
Suggest you read "help" in Word about macros for more background, or
pick up a book that explains it.
If you need additional hands-on help, best to ask on the newsgroups
orientated to Microsoft word. If you go there, be more specific about
what the problem is, what the exact error message is, and what you are
trying to do.
