Microsoft Word License? Download?

I have Microsoft Vista, and I'm trying to use Microsoft Word, but it keeps
asking for a product key. What do I do?
 
Microsoft Word is not part of Windows Vista it is a separate program. Now
you have either purchased Microsoft Word (or Microsoft Office) yourself from
a store, in which case the product code number is on the the CD case, or
Word was included as a 'trial' version. If it is a trial version then it is
valid fro 60 day after which you need to 'buy' the product to obtain a full
license.
