Word Microsoft Word issue?

Dear All,

Having a problem with a Word doc or maybe a printer. I'm confused!

When printing a document to a local printer (HP4050) I'm getting a space between letters, randomly. For example, instead of the word "four" it prints "f our" and instead of "product" it prints "p roduc t" which suggests a possible issue with the formatting of the document. If I print this to another printer (HP4200) though it's absolutely fine.

Other word docs printed to the local printer are fine.

Any ideas?

Isn't computing fun ...

Nope, not 'seen' that one ... make a copy of the Doc to RTF, which will/should strip out any formatting, then try resetting the format in a new doc.

All I can come up with, especially as it is printing other docs with no problem tends to rule out the printer.

Nowt as strange as a PC with a mind of its own.
