I would like someone to help me get my email to stop
sending double email, I get two emails the same, and
can't find out where to stop it?

Barbra,

For us to help you, you will need to clarify a number of things so we can
assist in troubleshooting:

- What Email are you using? AOL, Outlook Express, Outlook, etc.?
- You mention "sending double email" and then you mention "I get two emails
the same" - Are you Sending, Receiving OR BOTH double Emails?
- Was it always like this or did this just start to happen recently?
- If it started recently, what software did you install or uninstall
recently (around the time that this started to happen)?
- Does this happen ALL the time or only some of the time?
- Is this a home machine or a machine in a corporation (running their own
email server)?

With answers to the above, we can try to help you troubleshoot the problem.
Without knowing more info, it's darn near impossible to be of help in
getting your problem resolved.

Is there someone there in your office or home who can help you? You may
wish to clarify with them if you mean sending or receiving mail, and to
confirm what email program you are using (it probably is not Microsoft
Word unless you have it setup as the editor). Also show this person
exactly what you are doing to send and receive mail. They'll be able to
help.

have you set it up to "Keep a copy on the server"? Have you got rules
which do NOT end with "Stop processing any more Rules"? Try those for
starters.

And BTW, there is no such thing as Microsoft Word Mail.

1) Word is not an email client.
2) This is nothing to do with Windows, Word, Outlook or OE. Suggest you
contact your ISP.
