I have been trying to load Intellitype ver 5.0 on my Dell
4100 w/Windows 2000 professional loaded on it. I am tying
to do this so I can get full functionability from my
Microsoft Wireless Elite Keyboard. Everytime I do I get
the message that an earlier version of this software has
been loaded and would I like to remove this earlier
version (required to load new software). I click yes to be
told that an install log was not found and the
installation will cancel. Is there a way to manually
remove this software. I have tried add/remove in control
panel same problem. It acts as if some third party
keyboard software is loaded but the only keyboard ever on
this computer was a microsoft explorer keyboard. HELP!

What version of the Intellitype software is/was installed? Have you tried to
uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs? Make sure you are logged in with an
account with local Administrative privileges.
