Hi

I used this function to get the GPRS signal strength, but it seems to
return very coarse values. I received:

100 for four lines
86 for three lines
74 for two lines

I didn't manage to get signals below that (my bathroom is not deep
enough :) )

Can someone tell me what are the other possible values?

Thanks.

It's not exactly a precise science, the function will return a percentage.
If I remember correctly you need at least a 50% signal, and the bars work up
from around 60%, I would imagine they are something like:-
1 bar - 60%
2 bars - 70%
3 bars - 80%
4 bars - 90%

But I've never seen this documented so this is only a theory. If you want to
get really poor signals to test with find yourself some cake/biscuit tins
and place the phone inside them one by one, if you have any big sheets of
lead event better. Alternatively a cellar, basement, tunnel or mixture of
all the above.
