.......it automatically puts me into the Desktop Screen and it skips the
Login Process, which requires me to log in with my password. Is there a
reason why this is happening to me?

Please help me out because I need to restore the Login Process so this way
no one but myself will have access to my computer.

Go to Control Panel->User Accounts then click the link for Change way users
log on or off. Uncheck the Welcome screen option

Hi there,

Follow the steps to enable the windows logon:

You can enable automatic logon in Windows XP by following these steps:
1. Click Start and select Run.

2. Type "control userpasswords2" in the Open field and click OK.

3. Select the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer" option from the Users tab. A dialog box will appear asking you for
the user name and password that should be used to logon automatically.

4. Choose the user account for which you want to enable automatic login and
type the password.

5. Click OK.

Windows XP should no longer ask you for your user name and password.
