Microsoft Windows Network does not display all computers on the network

Windows 2000 Professional with ALL known updates.
When I go to My Network Places and drill down to Microsoft
Windows Network, my domain is displayed. When I expand my
domain, I only see my computer and the NT server. I
can "find computer" using an IP address and see others.
Other computers display all computers in the domain. This
is an intermittent (but persistent) problem. I have, at
times been able to see the other computers.

I have searched the knowledge base and newsgroups, but I
guess I don't use the right search criteria. I know this
has got to be a common problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
