When I open my Backup Programs I get the following message

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\nsCtrl.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I have contacted the application's support team for mor information but with
no success.

The program then starts after a short delay.

Can anyone assist.

If Novastor's technical support can't solve a problem with their own
software, I'm not sure what you want a Windows XP newsgroup to do about it.

<WAG> Some programs (like a backup) will perform their own security
check. One way to do this is to scan it's own binary image, then
"terminate" and run the image it just verified. </WAG>

I would not worry about it anymore.
