I heard that Vista will have better patch mechanism, installing patches will
require less system reboot. Is that true?
They should release some patches for the beta just to test the new update
interface.

Yep - that's true. Some will require restarts, but I guess that's just down
to specific products. Defender definitions won't require restarts (thank
God) but that's probably been set because they'll be quite regular.

So there really isn't any improvement from XP? I thought they made some
changes to the kernel so that most patches won't require rebooting the
computer.
