I recently got the following message on my Windows 2000 computer when updating a
Microsoft program:
"Now you can get updates for Windows, Office and other Microsoft applications all in one
place. Microsoft Update is a new service that brings you all the features and benefits
of Windows Update plus downloads for other Microsoft applications including Office."
What is Microsoft Update compared to Windows Update? What is important to me is that I
want to be able to select the exact updates I want instead of having updates installed
automatically.
