Just found this and i think is worth pointing out.

Carrying on from muck's post HERE

BBC News said:
Sony's controversial anti-piracy CD software has been labelled as spyware by Microsoft.
The software giant said a key part of the XCP copy protection system counted as malicious software under the rules it uses to define what Windows should be protected against.
Full article can be found HERE

I also found a list of most of the CD's that have the software on them here

Fall, you devil, FALL ... getting beyond the joke ... if you don't want people to copy, dont publish the dam things.

Creative Zen or Sony Walkman mp3 player, what shall I spend my money on?

er...................

So does this mean that all the previous titles that were released with the copyright protection software will be re-issued with out it? Also I think the newer DVD's have the same issue. I just purchased a movie and was unable to archive it. And it is a 2006 Sony release.
