Microsoft SUCKS

Gokkon

I just purchased Front Page 2002 for almost $180.00. I
have a issue with something that i dont quite
understand...The flimsy manual that cmes with it does not
explain the problem i have. I am not getting into what my
problem is because thats not my point right now. My point
is Micrsoft does NOT support for free or even have a 800
number to contact a CSI or tech support for stand alone
products othere than installation!! Installation is the
easy part! I can not believe the size and scope of
Microsoft let alone the worth of Bill Gates to NOT stand
behind there stand alone products!! No wonder why people
attack Microsoft and make fun of the company. This is my
first expierence with Microsoft for any product and it
WILL be my last..I am going to MAC imediatly!

The only support I can provided based on your post is....

Try reading the box prior to purchasing... Good luck w/
your mac... I'm sure we'll see you back hear in a few
months after you get pissy w/ mac for their lack of
support.

One thing though, if you want real support you've come to the right area.
Telephone support works, sometimes. Posting a problem here though will
usually get you a great answer because the people here actually use the
product, where the telephone support people often don't, and have a much
broader range of experiences as a lot of support questions asked often have
nothing to do with the product but instead with an ancillary product or
system.

Given the rising costs of telephone support, which is estimated at somewhere
around $30 per call to a normal tech support call center, it's
semi-understandable that MS charges. A lot of my software (non-MS) no longer
comes with telephone support (or at most for 30 days) and instead directs to
email (because cost of an email response is often about $11 per response) or
to a newsgroup like this (where the real champs are). It's a bummer the
direction that support is moving these days.

Hope this helps,

As you should be aware by now, you can get FREE support, very quickly, from
these newsgroups. The Microsoft MVP program assures that non-Microsoft
employees, who are recognized as experts with Microsoft technologies and
software, are constantly reading and responding to questions raised in these
newsgroups. I know of very few questions that don't get answered in less
than a half-hour in these newsgroups. The support you receive through these
newsgroups is not only timely and free, but BETTER support than most
software companies can provide with on-staff support personnel (which, BTW,
you can pay Microsoft for if you wish).

If you have a question, ask it, and see if I'm lying.

Who are you Bill Gates you suck hole?! Please give me a
break you are as bad as the sorry ass Microsoft reps that
dont know shit! So by NOT reading the box justifies the
fact they DONT stand behind there products?! Ya you will
NOT see me back here un-like your sorry excuse for a
educated human! Bill Gates has made his Billions on fools
like you..go ahead buy more of his products....If Mac
proofs to be as half assed as Microsoft (which i dought).
You still Won't see me back here, I will move on to who
ever can give me support for atleast 30 days for there
products. I meen who shouldn't stand behind there product
for atleast 30 days? If they dont stand behind there
product, that only tells me there product is not worth my
time and money. No matter what the product is!
Out

Well you sound as ignorant as the last guy..you just
stated that you have to go else where for support. Right
or wrong? Thats my exact bitch. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO!
Like i said in my last reply come on give us atleast 30
days..The problem in all this is so many people like your
self just sit back and take it up the ass! And it is NOT
because of Microsofts excelent products or buisness that
have made them what they are. Where have you been for the
last several years? It's called a monoply..if you want a
PC you most likely get a microsoft operating system with
it. Unless you go with a Linux or other smaller companies
operating system which can be risky i guess. They are who
they are today because of the little to no choices we
have..I swear to god you are all Microsoft Zombies. It's a
shame, a real shame there are not more people like myself
that don't take crap from Large companies or the
Govertment. You DONT have to sit there like zombies
takeing shit products or support because you think you
don't have a choice. Thats the aditude America was built
on. And unfortunantly that's why America is the dumps
today. To many people excepting things for what they are.
Instead of standing up for ourselves and fighting
companies like Microsoft.
Im done i can't waste anymore of my time arguing with you
Zombies.

I will agree that America's public school system is somewhat in the dumps.
Your poor spelling skills are evidence of that. Perhaps there are bigger
problems to tackle than free support.

Using Microsoft FrontPage 2003

Mac people sure do have poor language skills.

Maybe that's it! If you have poor skills in language or computers, use a Mac
:)

Sorry folks, I couldn't help myself.

Gokkon,

You sure sound like an angry fellow. Sad, really.

Microsoft is what America is all about. Everybody said IBM couldn't be
outdone in the computer business and that it was a Monopoly, and then they
met Gates & company. And, you know, the rest of the story.

MS has managed their good fortune quite well by any practical measure.
Regarding Linux, it's free, so why don't you use it? But, no, your a Jobs
cult member... if we are going to stoop to calling each other names. Na, I'm
not going to do it. I take it back. Your just angry because your favorite OS
lost the business battle.

Good luck with your Apple. Lot's of people use 'em and I understand they are
good products. Just more expensive and a little incompatable with the rest
of the world.

Ole Stevie should have ported that OS of his over to an Intel based box
years ago. Then maybe he would have stood a better chance of competing.

Have a good day.

And Keven,

You forgot to mention, you can save the posted question and answer in your
own personal reference file on your PC for future ref... or look it up
anytime later w/Google if it's been dumped by the news server.

You have your mother's nasty mouth, your father's lack of
education, and the good makings of a successful troll.

Go have your Mac attack. You're not wanted here anyway.

Be sure to include a spellchecker with your Mac.
dont
thats
Micrsoft
othere
there != their
expierence
imediatly

PS - the support & help here is free and funded by MS. If you would have
stated your problem, instead of spewing, your problem would now, more than
likely, be solved.

Bob Lehmann

Let's start at your core issues... You're pissed because
your mother and father couldn't spell, which is reflected
in your name "Gokkon".

You've decided the whole world is against you, and you're
not going to take it anymore......

Well I'm with you man! let's take your moped strap a
couple of gas cans to the side and ram the ms campus!

ps Dork-kon,

Have you ever heard of Macromedia, or Adobe? Both
companies produce web publishing programs... So you
really do have a choice.

The first choice you should make is to get help...

Gotta run Sponge bob is on..............

You will never have a chance of convincing someone that you are right by
calling them names. Neither does calling names serve any other useful
purpose.
