We believe we have a workaround which is better than installing the VB6 SP.
Can we have users who experience this problem try the following:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

Please let me know if this is working.

Open up a command prompt,
START, RUN, and type CMD
Type in the following REGSVR32 MSVBVM60.DLL
Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

Hello,

I have tried these steps to no avail. My MS AntiSpyware still comes up blank
with only a tool bar... if I do a scan, it just blanks out the app and
nothing appears to happen.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt

Yes--uninstall Microsoft Antispyware.

Delete the installation folder \program files\microsoft antispyware and all
subfolders.

You will lose access to all quarantined items, history, and customized
settings.

Reinstall Microsoft Antispyware.
