As of 5 February, 2005 I removed Microsoft's Spyware.
(1) It never found any spy ware when Ad-Aware was finding
it, it never found any spy ware when SPYBOT SEARCH AND
DESTROY was finding it.
(2) I experienced problems with two programs, Lotus Smart
Suite word processor and my scanner software. They
suddenly quit working and I had to reinstall them, after
dumping Microsoft's Spyware Program. Microsoft's Spyware
Protram ran in the background and evidently confliced with
both of these afore mentioned programs. Soon as I
uninstalled and deleted any reference to Microsoft's
Spyware in the registry, my problems disappeared, and I
was able to reload the programs. I tried to reload them
with Microsoft's Spyware installed to no avail. Of course
it is listed as a Beta program and does have or will have
bugs. I don't want anything more to do with it.
