Microsoft Spyware (Beta)

I recently received a message that stated that the beta
version would expire in 187 days. Contact Microsoft for
new software. I do not find any information on the
Microsoft website that gives any further information.
Does anyone know what they are talking about?
 
The beta version will expire. I'm sure that Microsoft will inform us of
further plans for the product before the expiration date.
