In your opinion, is this the best free anti-spyware software?

If not, can you suggest one?

And if you do, will it conflict with the Microsfot Spyware or can I run
more than one of these type programs on the same computer?

Most suggest running 2 or 3 spyware detection programs since each may miss
something.
Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 was recently replaced by Windows Defender Beta
2.
But in either case, it is Beta and as such you should use at your own risk.

I currently use Spybot S+D, AdAware and Windows Defender.

My reply is at the bottom of your message :

You must have antivirus and firewall always ON but as for antispyware , I
do not run specific AS software. My antivirus can catch spyware and riskware
so I am somehow protected . Once a week I scan with Ad-Aware SE Personal.

the more annoying spywares (i'm thinking of BHO's such as CWS and
others) aren't solved by *any* single piece of software (most don't even
detect it); only HijackThis and an intimate knowledge of every single
running EXE on your system, plus the resolve to thoroughly clean, can
really get rid of those ****ers.

though, ever since upgrading from IE to Firefox, i haven't had to deal
with it once. so the best (free) single anti-spyware software would
actually have to be, in my honest opinion, Firefox.
