Due to Microsoft spam, that I cannot get past, I cannot use the online service. Anyone know what to do short of a law suite?

There is no Microsoft spam only spam reporting to be microsoft update or
patches. You need to set up some rules to reject the suspect mail.
I think you would be very lucky to find anyone to serve a lawsuit against.

This one thing you can NOT blame on Microsoft. Someone else is pretending
to be them, probably with an attached virus. Do NOT open it ! Set email
controls to filter. If inadeqaute controls, get a new email provider.
Heck, even AOL filter most of that sort of junk.
