The SMS 2.0 client adds and removes a service as part of it's normal course
of opperations. This results in a "allow" or "Block" message every time an
inventory kicks off if you have the service shield enabled.

This means that users will be able to cancel inventory operations and we
will have unreliable data in SMS (not that it isn't already)

There needs to be a way to have an administrator defined allow list on
certain things.

see attached.

block administrative actions that originate from a central management tool
after they install Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) on a computer that is managed
by Systems Management Server 2003

Jason,

Thanks so much for the info....

Can I assume that this will be addressed before a production version is
shipped?
