microsoft sidewinder freestyle pro driver

is there a driver for the sidewinder freestyle pro for
windows 2000 professional. and how do i unistall from
system as add/remove programs will not work for this
software

In Control Panel, as I recall is an applet for Game controllers. Open that,
then add a game controller, select the Sidewinder (autodetect), and let it
install the Windows embedded driver. Then check if your particular model is
supported correctly. You only get the driver support for the device. Stuff
like programmable buttons is lost (because you're just using a driver and
not the software suite that no longer runs under NT-based Windows, and I
don't think Microsoft ever updated their Sidewinder software to support
NT-based Windows).
